Spooky season is upon us, and we ve created a thirteen piece collection inspired by all things superstitious! Are you daring enough to test with your luck?
DESCRIPTION
Includes: 13 nail polish bottles, housed in individual cardboard boxes.
Red Sunrise, Sailors Demise: A murky sea green base with hot red-orange-yellow-lime shifting shimmer and iridescent flakes. Inspired by the sailors’ superstition: Red sky at night, sailors delight; red sky in the morning, sailors take warning.
Chain Letter:Â An ominous navy-blue jelly base with silver holographic micro glitter and flakes. Inspired by early internet days where not continuing a chain letter would result in bad luck.
Upside-Down Horseshoe:Â A silver magnetic pigment forged together with a yellow-gold shimmer. Inspired by the belief that hanging a horseshoe with the feet down empties all of its good luck.
Macbeth: A blood curdling deep maroon crème. Inspired by the superstition that saying Macbeth in a theatre causes bad luck.
Magpies & Ravens:Â A raven black base with a shiny pewter shimmer; the overall effect can look olive toned on the nail. These birds are often thought of as being harbingers of bad luck.
Snake Eyes: A slithering snake green crème. A play on words, as the dice roll of double ones is usually undesirable.
Step on a Crack:Â An emerald-purple-pink shifting multichrome flake with linear holographic pigment and a crackled looking finish. Inspired by the old rhyme that stepping on a crack (such as sidewalks) is bad luck.
Broken Mirror:Â A mirror-like silver magnetic polish comprised of shattered metallic shreds. Inspired by the belief that breaking a mirror brings 7 years of bad luck.
Under the Ladder:Â A jelly purple base stepped up with green aqua micro flakes. Inspired by the belief that walking under a ladder brings bad luck.
Salem:Â A jelly black base with gold holographic glitter as bright as a black cat s eyes at night. Inspired by the belief that a black cat crossing your path is bad luck. This polish was specifically inspired by Sabrina Spellman s black cat Salem Saberhagen, with his glowing gold eyes.
Don t Open Inside!:Â A bright cobalt shimmer that is not your average rainy day blue. Inspired by the belief that opening an umbrella indoors results in bad luck.
Spilled Salt: An iridescent cobalt shimmer speckled with silver reflective micro glitter and holographic flakes. Inspired by the belief that spilling salt causes bad luck. To counteract, throw a pinch of the spilled salt over your left shoulder.
Th1rt3en:Â Made of 13 components, this pink-peach-yellow shifting magnetic pulls to reveal a grungy green base with multicoloured flakes and holographic glitter. Inspired by the unlucky number 13.
